Science in Palestine m.nazzari Thu, 10/02/2025 - 10:14 The Sant’Anna School hosts the event Science in Palestine, scheduled for Thursday, October 9 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 3 of the main building.The initiative offers an opportunity to reflect on the role of science and research in Palestinian territories, highlighting the challenges but also the resilience of the academic community.Opening remarks by Debora Angeloni and Lorenzo Gasbarri (Sant’Anna School ) will be followed by a lecture by Ibrahem Hanafi (Würzburg University, Germany), entitled Historical and Legal Remarks on the Question of Palestine. Palestinian Scientific Life and International Solidarity.The lecture will provide a historical and legal analysis of the Palestinian question, with a particular focus on scientific production in a context marked by occupation, restrictions, the destruction of university infrastructure, and academic isolation.
