Sex, Sexuality, and Stereotypes of Queer Candidates

Phil Jones is a Professor of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Delaware, where he is also the Research Director for the Center for Political Communication. He studies public opinion and political behavior, with a particular focus on understanding when and why straight cisgender people support LGBTQ rights and candidates. His work has appeared in the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, Political Behavior, among other journals. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of Public Opinion Quarterly.
