He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center and completed his fellowship in orthopedic oncology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at Rush University where he focuses on treating both kids and adults with primary bone and soft tissue cancer, as well as metastatic disease to the bones.He has an interest in limb preservation surgery with experience in complex reconstructive surgery of the lower and upper extremities, as well as the pelvis. Fice has authored multiple publications in the field featured in reputable journals such as the Journal of Surgical Oncology, JAAOS and the Journal of Arthroplasty.
