Kristen E. Vincent, MA, CCC-SLP, has many years of clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist, having worked across all pediatric settings. Her career involves leadership experiences such as supervisor, manager and director. She recently brought this knowledge to her position at the SCOPE Speech Hearing Clinic as a clinical educator and operations manager. Her prior roles at Rush include being the SLP at Rush Neurobehavioral Center, working among neuropsychologists to evaluate and treat children with speech and language disorders and comorbid neurodevelopmental conditions. Vincent continues clinical care, playing an integral part of the Young Child Clinic with the Department of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, evaluating children for autism. She has a particular interest in working on multidisciplinary teams, including clinical research studies. She assesses the skills of children with rare genetic disorders. Vincent participates in studies about literacy and language development in children with hearing impairment She applies her passion for providing evidenced-based coaching approaches complimented by her certification from the Hanen Centre as a parent instructor, to studies involving parent and caregiver responsivity. She is dedicated to contributing her experience engaging the under-served population and community outreach to her position at the Dr. Emily Q. Wang SCOPE Speech and Hearing Clinic at Rush.
