Democracy in Question: Zsolt Enyedi on the Crises of Liberalism

The latest episode of the Democracy in Question podcast, hosted by CEU President and Rector Shalini Randeria, features Zsolt Enyedi, Professor of Political Science at CEU and Senior Researcher at the CEU Democracy Institute. Enyedi researches party politics, comparative government, church and state relations, and political psychology with a focus on authoritarianism, prejudices and political tolerance. He is the lead researcher of the AUTHLIB research project at the CEU Democracy Institute funded by the European Union s Horizon Europe program. His 2021 book, Party System Closure co-authored with Fernando Casal Bertoa and published by the Oxford University Press, won the best book award of the Spanish Association of Political and Administrative Sciences and was the runner-up for the Stein Rokkan Prize, the best book award of the European Consortium for Political Research. Enyedi was also awarded the Rudolf Wildenmann Prize in 2003 and the Bibó Award in 2004.  In this episode Zsolt Enyedi on the Crises of Liberalism  released on May 8, Randeria and her guest explore the crises of liberalism.
