SBU Student Wins SUNY Emerging Leader Award

Stony Brook University student, Samuel Rosner (senior, biology major) was one of only 17 SUNY students to receive the inaugural SUNY Emerging Leader Award, which is designed to acknowledge students who have demonstrated significant leadership within their campus and/or community. The award, given by Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher, recognizes current emerging leaders and provides an incentive for them to continue to develop their leadership skills throughout their college career and beyond. Rosner was recognized in the category Healthier New York.
