SUNY Distinguished Professor and Chairman of the Stony Brook University Department of Mechanical Engineering, Fu-Pen Chiang, PhD was selected to receive the 2015 P.S. Theocaris Award for outstanding research by the Society of Experimental Mechanics. The award, which includes a $5,000 prize, is to be presented at the SEM 2015 Annual Conference in Costa Mesa, CA.
