Common allergen, ragweed, will shift northward under climate change

The first study of common ragweed s future distribution in the U.S. finds that the most common source of late summer allergens will expand its range northward as the climate warms, reaching places including upstate New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, while retreating from some current hot spots.
